If you are just coming home from prison, we encourage you to connect with Mecklenburg County Reentry Services. They can help with employment, training, treatment referrals and creating a positive support system:
Participation in the Re-Entry Services program is voluntary. Any individual returning to Mecklenburg County from incarceration OR anyone currently in the community within one year of release from a state correctional facility can receive help. Services can begin prior to release or after return to the community by completing a referral form.
Referrals to the Re-Entry Services program can be made by filling out the online referral form via the link below.
You may also contact Crossroads Reentry at 704-499-1332 for assistance with creating a reentry plan.
Promise Resource Network offers free classes and Peer Support to people reentering prison.
